Math Scavenger Hunt Levels

White – no debits ($20 credit)

Green – $5 debit

Yellow – $10 debit

Orange – $15 debit

Red – $20 debit

Math Scavenger Hunt Levels

You will be responsible for paying a monthly “rent” for your desk, chair, and cubby. You will also pay “fees” for the classroom computers and library. Once a month the bills will be passed out and will need to be paid in full by the last Friday of the month. You may choose to pay your bill all at once or a little at a time, but you will have to write a check each time you pay all or part of it. You will have to pay a $10 fee for each day your bill is late. Important: if you do not keep your desk reasonably clean, you will be fined $5 a day until it is organized. Different taxes can be added throughout the year as well. You will need to file your classroom taxes in April before Spring Break. We will complete these forms in math class, but you will need to keep an accurate record of your earnings throughout the year!

Math Scavenger Hunt Levels

Every nine weeks the classroom store will be open for you to spend your hard earned money. You will need to decide how much you want to spend the day before and complete a withdrawal slip to get your classroom cash out of your account. A group of students will serve on the store management team to set up the store, collect money from "shoppers" and track what students purchase so the store can be restocked. When it is your turn to serve on the store management team (and every one will be the end of the year), you will get a $10 store discount.
